Ingredients

1kg braaihoender of 4 hoenderkwarte
3 eetl olie
1 klein ui (fyngekap)
1 klein knoffelhuisie (fyngemaal)
2 eetl meelblom
170ml medium-droë wyn
315ml hoenderaftreksel
1 eetl tamatiepuree
sout en peper
100g knopie sampioene
varsgekapte pietersielie

Directions

1. Verhit olie in \'n vuurvaste pan en braai hoenderstukke stadig tot dit heeltemal goudbruin is. Voeg uie en knoffel by en braai dit saam met die hoender.
2. Roer meelblom in en laat kook vir \'n minuut.
3. Roer dan wyn, hoenderaftreksel en tamatiepuree in.
4. Voeg knopiesampioene by, maak pan dig toe en smoor stadig vir 40 minute.
5. Haal hoender uit, verminder die sous - indien nodig - deur dit te laat kook en giet dit oor die hoender.
6. Garneer met varsgekapte pietersielie en dien op met rys.
