Ingredients

3 kop Meelblom
3 teel Koeksoda
3 eetl Margarine
1 kop Melk
3 eetl Gouestroop
Sout

Directions

Smelt botter en stroop saam, laat afkoel. Los koeksoda in melk op en roer in.
Sif meel en sout in en meng deeglik.

Stroop:
Kook 3 kop suiker, 6 kop kookwater, 1 eetl gouestroop en 1 eetl botter in 'n groot kastrol.
Skep lepelsvol deeg in warm stroop en laat opkook.
Plaas deksel op en laat 1 uur lank stadig kook.
Indien verkies, kan 1 eetl gemmer bygevoeg word vir smaak.
