Lewer 13 liter gemmerbier.

Ingredients

10 liter water
1,5 kg (7 ½ x 250 ml) witsuiker
1 koekie (25g) saamgeperste gis
50 ml rosyntjies met pitte
1 bottel (750 ml) lemoen - of suurlemoenkwas
750 ml sodawater
50 ml gemaalde gemmer

Directions

Gooi die water in die houer waarin die bier aangemaak moet word.
Roer die suiker daarin totdat dit opgelos is.
Verkrummel die suurdeeg daarin.
Voegdie rosyntjies, lemoenkwas, sodawater en gemmer by en roer tot gemeng.
Laat die mengsel 24 uur lank by kamertemperatuur staan.
Roer dit af en toe om.
Suig die mengsel na 24 uur deur en gooi dit in houers.
Spoel die rosyntjies af en gooi 'n paar in elke houer, indien verkies.
Laat die bier 12 uur lankby kamertemperatuur staan en plaas dit dan in die koelkas.
