Ingredients

1 kg wortels, in skyfies gesny
2 middelslag uie, in ringe gesny
1 klein soetrissie, ontpit en in repies gesny
1 pakkie tamatiesop
250 ml water
sout en peper na smaak
200 ml wit asyn
125 ml kookolie
250 ml suiker
10 ml Worcestershire-sous
7 ml mosterd

Directions

Kook wortels tot halfgaar, dreineer en laat koud word. Rangskik wortels,
soetrissierepe en uieringe in lae in 'n groot bak. Meng res van bestanddele,
verhit tot kookpunt, roer aanhoudend en kook 2 minute. Gooi warm oor slaai
en laat dit met behulp van 'n mes in die middel en langs die kante van die
slaai inloop. Laat afkoel, sit deksel op en marineer twee dae in die koelkas
voor gebruik.
