Ingredients

1/2 lbs round steak
2 tbsp oil
1 envelope brown gravy mix
2 cups water
4-1/2 tsp instant minced onion
1 tbsp red cooking wine
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp salt
pepper to taste
1 bay leaf

Directions

Cut steak into 1 inch cubes.
Brown in hot oil.Remove and place in 1-1/2 quart casserole dish.
Add gravy mix and water to skillet and bring to boil, stirring constantly.
Stir in minced onion, cooking wine,
Worcestershire, ginger, salt, pepper and bay leaf.
Pour over meat in the casserole dish.
Cover and bake at 325 for 1-1/2 hours. Remove bay leaf.
Serve over rice or noodles.
